Cam focuses on mergers & acquisitions, private equity and corporate finance in a variety of industries. Cam has acted on numerous private equity buyouts and investments, exits, dividend recapitalizations and related financing transactions. In addition to advising on private equity deals, Cam acts for a variety of public and private clients on a broad range of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financings, joint ventures, corporate reorganizations, venture capital investments and information technology transactions. He also has extensive cross-border and international experience, including in the US, Asia, Europe and Latin America. Cam chairs Davies’ Lawyer Evaluation Committee and is an adjunct professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, where he teaches an advanced corporate transactions course. Cam is actively involved in the American Bar Association’s M&A Committee, including as chair of the biennial ABA Canadian Public Target M&A Deal Points Study and as issue group leader in the biennial ABA Canadian Private Target M&A Deal Points Study.
