Jillian Frank is a partner in the Employment and Labour Group of Dentons’ Vancouver office. Her practice focuses on employment, human rights, privacy and occupational health and safety laws. Jillian frequently advises clients from a variety of sectors on human rights issues, including the accommodation of employees with disabilities; occupational health and safety; human rights; and privacy compliance; and employment matters arising from mergers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions. She assists with drafting employment agreements, restrictive covenants, severance and change of control agreements and with developing workplace policies, including for alcohol and drug testing and privacy. She represents clients undergoing investigations and develops policies to avoid these. Jillian has extensive court, arbitration and mediation experience. She appears before all levels of court in Alberta and British Columbia, the Federal Court and Federal Court of Appeal as well as numerous administrative boards and tribunals in actions involving wrongful dismissal, human rights complaints, overtime litigation and privacy complaints.
