A partner in Dentons' Real Estate, Project Development, and Banking & Finance Practice groups, Kelly is a sought-after strategist in all areas of commercial real estate and infrastructure transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, property development, leasing, and real estate and project financing. Kelly is the Deputy Lead of Dentons’ National Real Estate Group. Her diverse practice focuses on project development work from the ground up – from acquisition of land, construction agreements and construction financing, right through to lease-up, take-out financing and much more. She also acts for lenders and borrowers in structuring, negotiating, and preparing financial agreements and associated loan documentation and security. In addition, her practice extends to government and Canadian Aboriginal law, advising a wide range of stakeholders in Federal Crown transactions structured under the Financial Administration Act, as well as Aboriginal transactions structured in compliance with the Indian Act. Kelly has provided effective business-minded counsel on a multitude of notable and landmark transactions. She recently co-led the legal team that acted on the $480 million purchase of Constitution Square, named the largest real estate transaction in Ottawa's history (2017).
