Partner in the Business Law Group of the firm’s Montréal office, she specializes in environmental law and is ranked in all the editions of Chambers Canada in this area since 2016. She acts for clients operating in a wide range of industrial sectors such as mining, petrochemical, aeronautics, waste, pulp and paper, agribusiness and manages on their behalf numerous matters related to environmental compliance, contaminated land remediation and permitting, including the provincial and federal environmental impact assessment processes. In the context of company sales or purchases, public offerings, real estate transactions and financing, she coordinates environmental due diligence and negotiates environmental issues. She has considerable expertise on climate change issues, especially with respect to the Québec and Ontario greenhouse gas cap-and-trade systems. She was called to the Québec Bar in 2002 and worked as a legal and political advisor on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, notably on climate change issues between 2004 and 2006.
