Leader of the firm’s National Immigration Practice, Stéphane provides a wide range of corporate immigration and global mobility related advice to executives and specialized workers. This includes strategic and creative solutions to obstacles in international mobility, corporate restructurings, mergers & acquisitions, and labour shortages. His track record and characteristic human touch has been repeatedly recognized by clients and colleagues across the country. He is often called on as referral counsel for files that have encountered difficulty throughout the various Canadian immigration pathways in addition to working closely with corporate clients on immigration legal compliance. Prior to obtaining his degree in law from the University of Montréal in 1996 and being called to the Québec Bar in 1997, Stéphane was a Canadian Immigration and Customs Officer. He is regularly asked to lecture or act as a moderator at various conferences on immigration law. He is also frequently interviewed by journalists on immigration issues. Mr. Duval is Past Chair of the Canadian Bar Association National Immigration Law Section.
