Practises construction law and is experienced in mediation and arbitration proceedings. Clients seek his advice on the issuance of calls for tenders, on insurance questions and insurers’ claims for losses on construction sites. He counsels clients regarding construction bonds, indemnity agreements, legal hypothecs and claims for additional costs incurred during construction projects. His advocacy experience includes both trial and appellate levels, arbitrators, administrative tribunals and government bodies. He is a Fellow and former president of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Construction Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association, Québec branch, as well as being the latter’s former president. He is often invited to address audiences on various issues pertaining to construction law.
