Bernard P. Quinn is a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright Canada. He practises in construction law (litigation and advisory). He advises and represents owners builders, engineers, manufacturers and financial institutions before all civil jurisdictions in Québec, as well as in arbitration and mediation. He regularly reviews and prepares tendering documentation, construction agreements (EPC, EPCM, etc.) and professional services agreements, with particular emphasis on complex industrial, mining, institutional, energy generation and commercial projects. He acts as arbitrator and mediator and is a Fellow of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers. He teaches construction law at the LLM’s program at the Université de Montréal (since 2000) and is a regular speaker on a broad range of construction law topics before professional associations. Co-author of La Construction au Québec: perspectives juridiques (Wilson Lafleur, 1998) as well as other texts on construction law, including on Building Information Modeling (BIM/IPD). Past chair Construction Law Section of the CBA (Q). He obtained in 1986 an LLM from the University of London, UK (Common Wealth Scholar). Québec Bar (1986). Mr. Quinn is a member of the construction, engineering and infrastructure team of the firm.
