Éric Dunberry, AdE, has acquired a vast knowledge in contentious and commercial matters, particularly in multijurisdictional cases involving energy, product liability, construction, technology and pension-related matters. He regularly represents electricity, oil and natural gas producers and distributors, as well as pharmaceutical companies, financial institutions, manufacturers and retailers in the context of commercial disputes, class actions, investigations, infrastructure projects and alternative dispute resolution methods. He acts for a wide array of corporate clients before trial and appeal courts, regulatory boards and administrative tribunals, including regulated entities in matters relating to rate-setting, permitting and approvals, market surveillance, exports and complaints. He is regularly retained by regulated entities to advise on laws and regulations governing the energy and pharmaceutical sectors. Mr. Dunberry is also a professional engineer and is often asked to review bids and tender documents, negotiate and draft commercial contracts, advise on risk management and act on behalf of corporate entities in the context of procurement-related litigation and infrastructure projects. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
