Peter Wardle is an associate counsel in Singleton Reynolds' Commercial Litigation Group. His practice focuses on corporate commercial litigation, securities litigation, class actions, directors' and officers' liability and professional liability. Peter has been involved in a large number of trials and court applications involving shareholder and partnership disputes, securities, banking, competition, professional negligence, wrongful dismissal, estates, construction, real estate and environmental issues, as well as a wide variety of contractual disputes. He has also participated in a number of arbitrations involving commercial issues and has mediated a number of commercial disputes. He has acted as counsel at two provincial commissions of inquiry and has prosecuted professional discipline cases. He has published a number of practice articles. Peter was a Director of The Advocates’ Society from 2000 to 2006 and chaired its Education Committee. Peter is a Bencher of The Law Society of Ontario and currently chairs its Professional Development & Competence committee. He also acts as an adjudicator for the Law Society Tribunal hearing and appeal panels. He also chairs a committee of the Federation of Canadian Law Societies.
