Practises criminal, constitutional, and regulatory litigation. Defends all types of criminal and quasi-criminal cases, including white collar/regulatory matters (e.g., involving RCMP-IMET, Canada Border Services Agency, Canadian Food Inspection Agency, Ministry of Labour). Advises on privacy matters. Represents lawyers facing allegations of ineffective assistance as LawPRO counsel, subpoenas in court, and discipline before the Law Society. Counsel in over 20 cases in the Supreme Court of Canada, including cases on digital privacy, cannabis, foreign corruption, and insider trading. Member of the Ontario Inmate Appeal Duty Counsel Program. Named a Top 25 Most Influential by Canadian Lawyer in 2019. Recognized by Lexpert, The Best Lawyers in Canada, and Benchmark Litigation.
