Practice focuses on corporate and regulatory issues relating to financial institutions, including mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Provides regulatory advice on the establishment of new banks, trust companies and insurance companies under the applicable federal financial services legislation. Provided regulatory advice on foreign and domestic demutualizations, and on the development of various capital instruments including under the new Basel III rules.
