Allyson Whyte Nowak practises intellectual property and related litigation. She has extensive experience in damages actions under the Patented Medicines (Notice of Compliance) Regulations, patent infringement actions and breach of confidence actions. She has in-depth trial experience as well as appellate experience at both the Federal Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of Canada. Ms. Whyte Nowak also provides strategic intellectual property advice including freedom to operate, validity and infringement opinions, as well as advice in connection with the protection of trade secrets, including non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements and non-competition agreements.
