A senior partner in the firm's Calgary office in the Technology and Innovation Practice Group, Tony Morris’ practice includes assisting technology suppliers and users in structuring, negotiating and implementing technology-related corporate and commercial transactions, including business process and information technology procurement and outsourcing relationships. Focuses on providing guidance on technology licensing and development, cloud computing and innovative delivery models, electronic commerce, privacy and cyber security, reseller and distribution arrangements and other commercial transactions, as well as the restructuring of or disengagement from complex relationships. Tony also has extensive experience in education law, having acted for major public school boards and post-secondary institutions. He has an MBA and earned an LLM from Osgoode Hall Law School on the “Business and Law of E-Commerce.” An important part of his practice is in privacy law and responding to personal information loss and wrongful access situations.
