Chris is the co-head of Bennett Jones LLP's Restructuring and Insolvency practice group. Chris's restructuring practice involves acting for debtor companies, lenders, and other creditors and court-appointed monitors, receivers, and bankruptcy trustees. Chris has acted on many large and complex cross-border restructurings. Chris's practice also focuses on dispute resolution in the energy industry, having acted in court actions, arbitrations, and mediations for the resolution of disputes touching virtually all aspects of the oil & gas industry. Chris is a member of the International Insolvency Institute and the Insolvency Institute of Canada and is a frequent writer and presenter on insolvency issues. LLB, Alberta; BCL, Oxford.
