Diane has more than 30 years of experience practising in commercial finance. Her practice is primarily focused on asset-based lending and equipment leasing, as well as complex structured finance transactions including acting for buyers and sellers in connection with private lease securitizations, financing of solar and wind power projects, rail car leasing, and other unique vendor programs. In addition, she regularly acts for financial institutions in connection with all their secured lending needs. Diane brings a unique business acumen to her legal practice as she spent over a decade in a variety of in-house counsel roles in the financial services industry. Diane regularly acts for both US-based and Canadian financial institutions in their equipment finance divisions, as well as negotiating leases on behalf of lessees seeking to structure their equipment financing to best support their business needs. An active member of the Canadian Finance and Lease Association and Chair of Women in Asset Finance.
