Erin Runnalls is a partner in Gowling WLG’s Calgary office, practising in the areas of general litigation with an emphasis on commercial and public litigation, including health law, class actions, media law, and domestic and international commercial arbitrations. Erin has advocacy and dispute resolution experience before the Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Northwest Territories, and Ontario courts. She is called to the Bar in the Northwest Territories. Erin is Chair of the firm’s pro bono programs in the Calgary office, including the Civil Claims Duty Counsel Project and the Queen’s Bench Amicus Project with Pro Bono Law Alberta. Erin was awarded the Law Society of Alberta Distinguished Service Award for Distinguished Service to the Profession for her pro bono work. Erin also chairs the Calgary office’s student recruitment committee and equity, diversity, and inclusion committee. In 2021, Erin was named as one of Lexpert’s Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40.
