Katherine is a partner at Borden Ladner Gervais’ Toronto office and chair of BLG's National Aviation group. Katherine regularly advises clients on general insurance matters, and helps them navigate the regulatory world in both transportation and travel. Her practice includes a focus on product liability, aviation litigation insurance litigation and autonomous vehicles. Katherine’s expertise extends to land transportation, occupiers’ liability, and municipal defence. Additionally, she specializes in courtroom and written advocacy for both Canadian and international clients. She is a licensed glider pilot and commercial pilot for fixed-wing aircraft with a little bit of rotary time. She is also a regular speaker, presenter and author on topics such as aviation law, litigating an aviation case before Canadian juries, UAV/UAS regulations, Canadian civil procedure, and damages recovery.
