Kelsey Sherriff has a general commercial litigation practice focused on class actions, estates and trust law and administrative and regulatory health law. Kelsey has a diverse litigation practice. She acts as defence counsel in a wide variety of class actions including environmental, products liability, privacy and competition law across many industry sectors. She also has a robust trusts and estate litigation and dispute resolution practice, where she acts for executors on probate matters and for individuals and charities on issues concerning the validity of wills and variation claims. On the health law front, Kelsey acts for various administrative bodies such as regulatory colleges where her litigation work includes submissions before the Health Professions Board, disciplinary hearings, and Supreme Court matters. This practice allows her to draw on her background degree in kinesiology. In addition, Kelsey represents clients in her commercial litigation practice on matters involving contractual disputes, debt claims and shareholder disputes. Kelsey clerked for a year at the British Columbia Supreme Court following law school and currently serves as the co-chair of Miller Thomson Vancouver’s Women’s Leadership Initiative committee and co-chair of the national Pro Bono committee.
