Lisa MacDonnell is a partner in Gowling WLG's Toronto office and a member of the Real Estate and Financial Services Group. Her practice encompasses a broad range of banking, restructuring, real estate and business law related areas. Lisa regularly acts for financial institutions, private lenders and borrowers in a broad range of domestic and cross-border financing transactions, including bilateral and syndicated loans in the areas of insurance, real estate, project finance, acquisition, construction, agricultural and asset-based lending. Lisa is seen as a leading financing lawyer in the area of private wealth lending and works with lenders on structuring loans for high net worth borrowers. She also works closely with her banking clients to develop training programs on a broad range of lending topics. Prior to entering the practice of law, Lisa worked for one of Canada's largest financial institutions in a variety of positions.
