Matthew Halpin is a senior partner in the Ottawa Litigation hroup with over 35 years of practice. His practice includes corporate and commercial litigation, insurance, restructuring and insolvency, real estate disputes, property assessment, arbitration, dispute resolution, environmental and trust litigation, and administrative tribunal work. He has acted as counsel in numerous Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) files, including ad hoc arbitrations and mediations. He has completed courses with Stitt Feld Handy and has an Executive Certificate in Conflict Management. Mr. Halpin has appeared before all levels of the Ontario provincial courts, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court of Canada, the Ontario Securities Commission, the Federal Court of Canada and the Ontario Assessment Review Board.
