Nancy E. Claridge was called to the Ontario Bar in 2006, when she joined Carters Professional Corporation, becoming a partner in 2012. She practises in the areas of corporate and commercial law, anti-terrorism law, real estate law, commercial leasing, charity and not-for-profit law and wills and estates, in addition to being the assistant editor of the firm’s publications. Ms. Claridge has been repeatedly recognized as a leading expert by Lexpert. She is former President of the Dufferin County Law Association and a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association. Nancy graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2005, where she received the Dean’s Gold Key Award and the Legal & Literary Society’s Student Honour Award. Prior to attending Osgoode Hall, Nancy spent several years developing online Canadian legal research databases for LexisNexis Canada, including the creation of a Canadian citations database for Shepard’s. In the community, Nancy is a Director with the Credit River Non Profit Housing Corporation and Hiwhois Assistance Group, a Director with the Orangeville Blues and Jazz Festival, and on the Executive Committee of the Greater Dufferin Area Estate Planning Council.
