Nancy E. Claridge is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2006, when she joined Carters Professional Corporation, becoming a partner in 2012. She practises in the areas of corporate and commercial law, anti-terrorism law, commercial and residential real estate law, charity and not-for-profit law and wills and estates. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association. Prior to attending Osgoode Hall, Nancy obtained her BA (Hons.) and MA from York University and spent several years developing online Canadian legal research databases for LexisNexis Canada, including the creation of a Canadian citations database for Shepard’s. In the community, Nancy is currently a Director with the Credit River Non-Profit Housing Corporation and Hiwhois Assistance Group, a Director with the Orangeville Blues and Jazz Festival, and on the Executive Committee of the Greater Dufferin Area Estate Planning Council. She is the former President of the Dufferin County Law Association, member of the Community Living Dufferin Rights Advisory Committee, member of the Upper Grand District School Board Compliance Audit Committee, as well as other organizations.
