Noordin Nanji, QC, is a partner, a member of Stikeman Elliott's National Partnership Board and head of the Corporate/Securities Group in the Vancouver office. He advises public and private companies with respect to mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, the formation and financing of both public and private business ventures and complex strategic transactions. He advised clients in the forestry, mining, technology, outsourcing, investment banking and alternative energy industries, among others. During that time, Noordin was ranked as a leading lawyer in Corporate Commercial Law by The Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory. He was also recognized by EuroMoney Magazine as leading corporate finance counsel in the Guide to the World's Leading Capital Markets Lawyers. From 1998 to 2009, Noordin held various senior executive positions at Ballard Power Systems Inc. including, most recently, Vice-President, Strategy and Development.
