Reuben M. Rosenblatt, LLD, KC, LSM, is a partner and co-chair of the Minden Gross LLP Commercial Real Estate Group. An award-winning lawyer and educator, Reuben’s practice focuses on complex legal issues. He often acts as an arbitrator and mediator of commercial disputes. He is Repeatedly Recommended in The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and named in The Best Lawyers in Canada. He presents for the OBA, Osgoode Professional Development, Toronto Lawyers Association and the LSO on real estate and mortgage law. Reuben is the first recipient of the OBA Award of Excellence in Real Estate (1996). Other awards include the Osgoode Hall Law School Alumni Association Gold Key Award (2003), the Osgoode Hall Law School Award of Excellence in Teaching, the Law Society Medal (2007) and the OBA Distinguished Service Award (2020). He was honoured by the LSO with an LLD in 2018. He is appointed by the Ontario Superior Court to act as a trustee/liquidator, independent counsel and sales officer in the management and sale of industrial/residential portfolios. Together with his wife, he is the author of three children’s books, Reuben and Shaharazad, Reuben and Jo Jo and The Little Hero. He is also the author of My Mother and Me and College Street Parts I and II. Admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1959.
