Robert Dunford is a partner in Gowling WLG's Hamilton office. A highly experienced trial advocate, Robert routinely acts for major financial institutions, non-institutional lenders, and corporate clients both within Canada and internationally. His practice covers a wide range of areas, including banking and mortgage fraud, negligence claims, contract disputes, bankruptcy and insolvency, human rights, construction law, and appellate advocacy. Robert also supports key industry clients with risk assessments and defending prosecutions under the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Robert occupies a number of additional roles in the firm, including associate editor of the Commercial Litigation Review and heading the Hamilton office's pro bono partnership program with McMaster Children's Hospital. He also sits on a number of boards including international charitable foundations such as Joint Aid Management Canada.
