Tamara primarily practices in the areas of corporate and commercial law and assists her clients throughout the lifecycle of their business. Tamara’s advice ranges from establishment or purchase to ongoing operations, to governance and strategy to growth through financing, employee and other equity investments to exit strategies including sale, corporate and tax reorganizations and succession arrangements. Tamara takes a comprehensive and practical approach when advising all manner of business vehicles including corporations, partnerships, joint ventures, not-for-profit entities, charities, public-private partnerships, and municipal entities. Her clients also rely on her trusted advice with respect to commercial real estate, leases, secured financing (both for banks and borrowers), non-traditional lending and borrowing, and all manner of commercial agreements including distribution agreements, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, and asset leases and licenses. Tamara was previously the author of the Alberta Corporation Manual, an annually-updated manual published by Thomson Reuters containing commentary on corporate law, departmental practice and procedure notes, and a collection of forms and precedents.
