Prosecuted matters for the Association of Professional Engineers for 15 years and continues to be involved in various civil actions involving various engineering issues. Has acted for a number of banks, shareholders, and businesses in a wide range of commercial disputes and regularly acts for large accounting firms. In recent years, has been involved in a number of class proceedings. A writer and speaker on topics including privacy issues, privilege, risk management, various medico-legal issues, and advocacy. Certified by the Law Society of Ontario since 2008 as a Specialist in Civil Litigation. A former member of faculty at the University of Toronto Law School, where he taught trial advocacy. Admitted to the Ontario Bar in 1989.
