Global Public Affairs and NATIONAL Public Relations announced, on July 15, 2004, a business partnership that will allow both firms to provide comprehensive government and public relations services to their clients. All amounts remain confidential.
Global Public Affairs and NATIONAL will integrate their government and public relations offerings to their clients. In connection with the alliance, NATIONAL acquired a minority equity position in Global.
NATIONAL was represented by a team from Stikeman Elliott led by Michel Gélinas and which included Benoît Dubord, Pascal Hurtubise and Andrea Crum-Ewing (corporate), Luc Bernier (tax) and Hélène Bussières (employment).
Global Public Affairs was represented by Michel Wylie, director of legal and financial affairs, and Terry Peterman of Lang Michener.
