Simona Jellinek was called to the Bar in 1996. Her practice centres around representing seriously injured plaintiffs with a special focus on sexual abuse litigation. She has successfully represented plaintiffs against religious institutions, Boy Scouts, Children’s Aid Societies, Maple Leaf Gardens, and governments. Simona is one of only a few lawyers in the country that has significant experience in the area of sexual abuse claims. She co-drafted The Law Society of Upper Canada Sexual Abuse Guidelines applicable to all lawyers in Ontario. She sits on the Sexual Assault Advisory Committee of the Toronto Police Services. Simona was on the Board of Directors for the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association for nine years.
