Legal practice focuses on technology law, particularly advising clients on large-scale and mission-critical IT transactions, and health informatics. Patent practice focuses on IT technologies and computer-related technologies, as well as software technology and business methods. Recognized in the 2016 and 2015 editions of the Legal 500 Canada (intellectual property). Graduated with a Bachelor of business administration in corporate finance in 1996 from the University of Regina and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in 1999 from the University of Alberta. Called to the Alberta Bar in 2000.
