Sarah Armstrong is a vice-chair of Fasken Martineau’s Ontario litigation department and is co-Chair of the firm’s Arbitration Practice Group. Sarah is an experienced litigator with a broad litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution practice with a focus on complex commercial and contractual disputes and class actions. Sarah advocates for clients in a variety of industries including mining, automotive, professional services, health, retail and manufacturing in the context of a wide range of types of disputes including securities, products liability and privacy class actions, contractual and other commercial disputes, professional liability matters and employment litigation. Sarah has courtroom advocacy experience at both the trial and appellate levels, having acted as lead counsel and co-counsel in a range of matters before all levels of court in Ontario and before arbitration tribunals. Her experience extends to administrative law matters, including acting as independent legal counsel to the discipline and fitness practice committees of College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Sarah is a member of the Board of Directors of The Advocates’ Society.
