Stéphane Fillion is a partner in Fasken Martineau’s Labour, Employment & Human Rights Group. He was called to the Québec Bar in 1997. He practises in all areas relating to labour and employment law, including dealing with collective labour relations, individual employment contracts or human rights, labour standards, workplace health and safety, pension plans and pay equity. Furthermore, Mr. Fillion has developed a thorough expertise with regard to collective agreement bargaining. He has acted as chief negotiator on numerous occasions and has been an outside counsel for the preparation of collective agreement provisions and the establishment of bargaining strategies. He has also developed particular expertise with regard to various problems arising from the administration of supplemental pension plans. He frequently acts as a speaker for conferences and presents personalized training sessions to clients with regard to, among others, the management of disciplinary records, the preparation of arbitration and psychological harassment.
