Lisa is a partner at Lerners LLP and a roster arbitrator with Arbitration Place. She acts as an arbitrator in domestic and international commercial arbitrations (both ad hoc and under institutional rules), to which she brings more than 25 years of experience as counsel in commercial/business litigation and both international and domestic commercial arbitration. She has particular expertise in business and contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, including oppression remedy claims, and directors’ and officers’ liability. She is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and has obtained the ADRIC’s QArb designation. She is a member of the board of directors of ADRIC and CIArb. She is also on the rosters of the Vancouver International Arbitration Centre (VanIAC), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Canada and International Centre for Dispute Resolution (ICDR). Lisa is the editor of and a writer for Arbitration Matters which features summaries of key decisions on commercial arbitration issues as they are released by courts across the country.
