AltaGas closed its aggregate $300-million issue of senior unsecured medium-term notes, specifically: (i) $200-million medium term notes which carry a fixed coupon of 4.40 per cent and maturing on Mar. 15, 2024, and (ii) $100-million medium term notes which carry a fixed coupon of 5.16 per cent and maturing on Jan. 13, 2044. The offerings were made under AltaGas' Short Form Base Shelf Prospectus dated Aug. 23, 2013 and Prospectus Supplement dated Jan. 7, 2014.
The syndicate of dealers included CIBC World Markets Inc. (co-lead), National Bank Financial Inc. (co-lead), BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., RBC Dominion Securities Inc., Scotia Capital Inc., TD Securities Inc., HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc., Beacon Securities Limited, J.P.
