Our office in Vancouver is one of the leading business law firms in British Columbia. NEW YORK

Blakes opened its New York office to assist our US-based clients with Canadian elements of cross-border transactions and all other aspects of doing business in Canada. Although we do not practise US law, in order to assist our Canadian clients doing business in the US, we work closely with law firms in the Northeastern United States, the Midwest and California with respect to US legal matters. We also actively identify and promote Canadian business opportunities that may be of interest to our US-based clients.

The office liaises with each of our Canadian offices to solidify the Firm’s relationships with key US clients to ensure we are meeting their needs. It also serves as a base of operations for many of the Firm’s lawyers who frequently visit clients in the area.

On-the-ground cross-border experience in New York includes mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, securities regulation, private equity and taxation.
