Ariel’s litigation and dispute resolution practice focuses on complex commercial and infrastructure arbitrations. Her extensive experience includes advocating for clients in contractual and construction disputes regarding major projects in the energy, mining, and real estate development sectors. Ariel also acts as counsel in class action and product liability proceedings, and has appeared in the provincial and superior courts of British Columbia, the British Columbia Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada. Ariel works frequently with engineers and subject-matter experts across North America to evaluate and advance her clients' unique strategic interests. She is a regional director for the Society of Construction Law (BC Region), a member of the Vancouver International Arbitration Centre's Rules Committee, and a board member for the Young Canadian Arbitration Practitioners.
