Jeff has been a partner in the Pension & Employee Benefits Group at Blakes in Toronto since 2004 and has practised exclusively in the area of pensions and employee benefits at Blakes for over 20 years. Jeff’s practice involves all aspects of the implementation, administration, and termination of pension, group benefit, profit sharing, and executive compensation arrangements. He has particular expertise in dealing with pension investments, pension & employee benefit issues in corporate insolvencies, and pension plan governance. His clients include public and private sector pension plan sponsors and administrators and a wide range of financial institutions and service providers. Jeff is Acting Chair of the Canadian Bar Association’s Pension and Benefits Law Section Executive and a co-Chair and instructor for the Osgoode Certificate in Pensions Law Program.
