Kelly is a partner who practises in the areas of restructuring & insolvency law at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP. Kelly is experienced in all aspects of complex commercial reorganizations, in-and out-of-court work-outs, receiverships and other enforcement of security. She has represented many different parties affected by the insolvency process in both domestic and cross-border cases, including lending syndicates, debtors, purchasers, secured and unsecured creditors, and court officers. Kelly is recognized as a leading lawyer in various directories including The Canadian Legal Lexpert® Dictionary. Kelly has authored, co-authored and presented articles and papers on various insolvency-related topics for continuing legal education programs, conferences and seminars with a particular interest in derivatives and eligible financial contracts. She is the western editor of the Canadian Bankruptcy Reports. Kelly is a member of the Turnaround Management Association Global Board of Trustees. She is also a member of the Insolvency Institute of Canada, Canadian Bar Association Insolvency Law Section, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals where she serves as a member of the Advisory Council for the Lloyd Houlden Fellowship.
