Allied Properties REIT Completes Refinancing of Cite Du Multimedia

Allied Properties REIT completed a refinancing of its existing mortgage loans on the property known as Cité du Multimédia, which houses a cluster of information technology companies in an urban office campus and seven industrial buildings, located in Montreal, Quebec, in a neighborhood between Old Montreal, Griffintown and downtown Montreal. The refinancing was made available to Allied Properties REIT by Otéra Capital and consisted of a new credit facility totalling $172.5 million.

Otéra Capital was represented by Mélanie Charbonneau and Malika Bell, who were assisted by a team from McCarthy Tétrault LLP composed of James Papadimitriou and Mary Pagonis.

Allied Properties REIT was represented by a team from Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP composed of Laurent Roy and Marie-France Béland, and by a team from Aird & Berlis LLP composed of Mike Smith, Aaron Collins and Margaret Nelligan.
