On June 22, 2006 Bowater Canadian Forest Products Inc. and Bowater Maritimes Inc. completed their sale of the private timberlands in Quebec known as the “Lacroix Freehold” to Gestion Forestière Lacroix, a subsidiary of Société générale de financement du Québec, for an undisclosed purchase price.
