DLA Piper (Canada) LLP announced the addition of four new partners: Jennifer Arndt, Bentley Gaikis, Rebecca von Rüti and Ryan Black. With a practice focused on securities, corporate finance, banking law and transactional corporate matters, Arndt has worked at the firm’s Calgary office since 2005. Gaikis practices in all areas of intellectual property litigation in Toronto. von Rüti joined the Vancouver office in 2009 and her practice concentrates on defending pharmaceutical companies, medical product manufacturers, educational publishers, airlines, chemical and raw material manufacturers, electronic device and component manufacturers and other companies against individual and class-action claims. Black has joined the firm’s Vancouver office and practices technology-related corporate law with a focus on internet technologies, ecommerce, video games and esports.
DLA Piper (Canada) LLP also announced Jarrod Isfeld has been made office managing partner of the firm’s Calgary office. Isfeld is a capital markets lawyer and member of the firm’s Japan Practice Group.
