In Halifax, Geoffrey Machum, QC, was elected chair of the Partnership Board of Stewart McKelvey. Machum is a senior partner focusing on commercial litigation. Machum succeeds Paul Smith, who practises corporate, corporate finance and trust law from the firm’s Saint John, New Brunswick, office, and had been chair since 2011.
