Dentons Canada LLP announced that Robin Longe has been appointed as Canada co-chairperson of the firm’s mining group, effective July 6. Leanne Krawchuk, based in the firm’s Edmonton office, serves as fellow co-chairperson.

A Vancouver-based partner, Longe’s practice focuses on natural resources, mining, forestry, environmental and Aboriginal law. He has experience with corporate transactions in the mining and forestry sectors, the purchase and sale of mines and mining rights, advising clients on agreements specific to mining industries and negotiating arrangements with First Nations in B.C.

Longe joined Dentons in 2019 and is a member of the firm’s corporate group.
