Osler welcomes new partner to insolvency and restructuring group in Toronto

New partner is is experienced in handling proceedings under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act

Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP announced that Kathryn Esaw has joined the firm as partner in its Toronto office. A member of the firm’s insolvency and restructuring group, Esaw is experienced in handling proceedings under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act and informal restructurings under the Canada Business Corporations Act.

Esaw has assisted clients with creating and executing acquisition, divestiture and recovery strategies, dealing with operational and financial distress and acquiring or financing distressed assets and companies. She has also been involved in complex restructurings in the natural resources, manufacturing, cannabis and energy sectors.
