Aéroports de Montréal completion of consent solicitation process

Industry: Transportation - Air

On Mar. 18, ADM Aéroports de Montréal (ADM), the local airport authority responsible for the management, operation and development of YUL Montréal–Trudeau International Airport and YMX International Aerocity of Mirabel, announced that it had successfully obtained consent from its bondholders to temporarily waive certain provisions under its master trust indenture governing its outstanding series of bonds, including pledged bonds, under a previously announced consent solicitation process.

The completion of this process demonstrated the market’s long-term confidence in the industry and ADM, and provided ADM with the necessary flexibility to operate its business and navigate through the challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic.

ADM was represented by Sylvain Choinière, ADM’s vice-president, legal affairs and corporate secretary, assisted by Sophie Prégent, ADM’s director of legal affairs and assistant corporate secretary.

Dentons Canada LLP also represented ADM with a team including
Vitale Santoro,
Robert Roth,
