Bank Of Montreal Completes Notes Offering

Bank of Montreal completed, on March 9, 2011, an offering of $1.5 billion principal amount of 3.979 per cent Medium Term Notes, Series G due July 8, 2021. The Notes were offered pursuant to a pricing supplement dated March 4, 2011 to a prospectus supplement dated January 12, 2010 and short-form base shelf prospectus dated January 11, 2010.

The offering was completed by a syndicate of dealers led by BMO Capital Markets and included RBC Capital Markets, CIBC, Scotia Capital Inc., TD Securities Inc., Desjardins Securities Inc., HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc., National Bank Financial Inc., Laurentian Bank Securities Inc. and Merrill Lynch Canada Inc.
