Barrick Completes US$2B Offering

Barrick Gold Corporation completed an offering of debt securities pursuant to Rule 144A, consisting of US$1.25 billion aggregate principal amount of 3.85 per cent notes due 2022 and US$750 million aggregate principal amount of 5.25 per cent notes due 2042. The notes were offered by a syndicate of initial purchasers led by Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and RBC Capital Markets, LLC.
