Barrick Issues US$750M of Notes

On November 12, 2004, Barrick Gold Corp. and its wholly-owned subsidiary Barrick Gold Finance Co. completed an offering of an aggregate of US$750 million of notes, of which US$400 million are due 2034 and US$350 million are due 2014. The notes were offered only in the United States by a syndicate of underwriters led by Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc. and Deutsche Bank Securities Inc.
