Stikeman Elliott acted as counsel to the Canada Infrastructure Bank with a $173 million repayable contribution facility that is being provided for the construction of the 205 MW Bekevar Wind Project in Bekevar, Saskatchewan. The Bekevar Wind Project is being developed by a subsidiary of Innagreen Investments, who purchased the project from Renewable Energy Systems Canada Inc. concurrently with the closing of the financing. The transaction closed on January 27, 2023.
