Bombardier Skytrain

Contracts were signed in August between Bombardier Inc. and Rapid Transit Project 2000 Ltd. (RTPO) (representing B. C. Transit and the Province of British Columbia) for the extension of Vancouver’s Skytrain System. Bombardier is supplying the new Mark II vehicles for the system. The vehicles will initially be built in Kingston, and then production will shift to a new Bombardier manufacturing plant in Burnaby, B. C.

Bombardier was represented by Lawson Lundell Lawson & McIntosh with Russell & DuMoulin acting as counsel to RTPO. The Lawson Lundell team was led by Lorne D. Peterson and comprised of Valerie C. Mann, Kelly R. Doyle, Walter Rilkoff and Leonard Glass. The Russell & DuMoulin team was comprised of Paul C. Wilson, Helmut K. Johannsen, and David W. Little.
