Celestica Purchases Primetech Electronics

Celestica Inc., a world leader in electronics manufacturing services, entered into an arrangement with Primetech Electronics Inc. providing for the acquisition by Celestica by way of plan of arrangement of all of Primetech’s outstanding shares on May 31, 2001. Primetech is an electronics manufacturing services provider based in Kirkland, Quebec. The total transaction value, including consideration for shares, stock options and assumption of debt, is approximately $265 million.
